Victor Wanyama’s brother has come out to put an end to speculations surrounding Morgan Bahati’s paternity.
For long, rumors have had that Morgan parents are Victor and Diana Marua. Victor found himself in the controversy because of his striking resemblance with the teenager.
The rumors were further fueled by an old photo of Diana and the footballer.
In a bid to establish the truth of the matter, radio presenter Ankali Ray contacted one of Victor’s brother as he couldn’t reach him, since he is currently in Canada.
“No. That’s propaganda, people are just speaking nonsense,” Wanyama’s brother said.
He added Diana and Victor have never dated and they just took a photo together after meeting.
“That photo is old. There is nothing that ever happened between them. Why would I cover for him? They never dated. They just met took a photo and then a few years later propaganda started,” he explained.
Ankali however wondered why Victor and Morgan resembled each other much if they are not related by blood.
Responding to him, Victor’s brother said, “People resemble each other. Even me, there might be someone who looks exactly like me out there even you look like some one out there.”
He also noted that in their family, they have big bodies, therefore disqualifying Morgan to being their relative.
“There are features in us Luhyas, we have big bodies, all my brothers’ children have big bodies, there are just somethings that stand out in our family,” he said
He swore that if there had been something between Diana and Victor, as a family, they would have known.
“There has never been something between them, I swear. Victor only has one child with Sera,” he concluded.
Morgan was adopted by Bahati at the age of two years, from the orphanage that he also grew in. He would then meet Diana and the trio later settle down as a family.
