For a long time now, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has been attacking his Kenya Kwanza colleague Kimani Wamatangi.
Kuria and Wamatangi are both eyeing the Kiambu gubernatorial seat under Chama cha Kazi and UDA parties respectively.
Kuria sees the Kiambu senator as his greatest enemy and never misses an opportunity to bash him.
In his recent post on social media, Kuria called upon Kiambu residents against voting for Wamatangi accusing him of wanting to be the Robert Mugabe(dictator) of Kiambu.
“Enough is enough! Kimani Wamatangi wants to be the Robert Mugabe of Kiambu,” Kuria said, adding that, “Insanity is doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results.
The MP argued that Wamatangi had served Kiambu under the leadership of three different governors and it was time to give another person a chance to hold Kiambu’s top office instead of him.

Kuria however received a backlash over his post with some criticizing him for the infighting as others told him the bitter truth about his chance of winning the gubernatorial race.
“You better start getting drunk and sleep in mtaro because that’s where you belong,” a netizen told him.
“What I am happy about… Utafika Gatundu mbele ya Uhuru…. Into your political death,” read another comment.
“Work on yourself and your path. He has his way to winning, he is still headed to the Governorship!!!” read another comment
“You can’t make it, you will be the last one in the list, I don’t like your style of politics,” said another netizen.
July opinion polls indicated that Tujibebe Wakenya Party leader William Kabogo is likely to win the Kiambu gubernatorial race with his popularity standing at 34%. Independent candidate Patrick Wainaina aka Jungle came second with 30.5%. Wamatangi came third while the incumbent James Nyoro and Kuria occupied the fourth and fifth positions respectively.
