Lawyer and activist Miguna Miguna has lashed out at former US president Barack Obama.
Miguna has referred to Obama as a useless hypocrite and even proceeded to unfollow him on Twitter.
“I’ve unfollowed you today. What a useless hypocrite!” The controversial politician tweeted on Tuesday.
His move comes after Obama shared a tweet, commenting on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.
In his tweet, Obama sympathised with Israel nationals, adding that Americans should be worried and angered by the attacks on Israel.
“All Americans should be horrified and outraged by the brazen terrorist attacks on Israel and the slaughter of innocent civilians. We grieve for those who died, pray for the safe return of those who’ve been held hostage, and stand squarely alongside our ally, Israel, as it dismantles Hamas.
“As we support Israel’s right to defend itself against terror, we must keep striving for a just and lasting peace for Israelis and Palestinians alike,” Obama said.

The endless war between Israel and Palestine was reignited on Saturday after Palestinian military group(Hamas) in Gaza launched an unprecedented attack on Israel killing locals and taken others as hostages.
Israel responded by calling up army reservists that launched a wave of airstrikes on Gaza strip, which is home to 2.3 million people
Reports indicate that so far over 900 Israelis have lost their lives and thousands others are hospitalized in critical condition. Over 600 Palestinians have also been killed and others captured by Israel.
The main reason for Saturday’s attack remains unclear but there has been growing tension between Israeli soldiers and settlers and Palestinians in the West Bank.
Gaza is located along the territories of Israel, Egypt and the Mediterranean Sea.
Hamas took over Gaza strip in 2007 and has been wanting to convert it into a Muslim state.
This has seen the militant group launch several deadly attacks on Israel and even allowing other groups to fire rockets at the country.
Hamas has since been labeled a terrorist group by Israel, the United States, the European Union and the UK, as well as other powers but it is backed by Iran, which funds its operations.
