Uproar As Kware Murders Suspect Escapes From Custody

Date:

Collins Jumaisi, the man suspected to have murdered at least 42 women, including his wife and dumping their bodies at Kware dumping site has escaped custody.

According to Nairobi Regional commander Adamson Bungei, Jumaisi escaped custody from Gigiri police station along with 12 other suspects who are from Eritrea.

The suspects escaped custody on Tuesday morning. The police got aware of their escape when they went to wake them up for breakfast.

The suspects cut a wire mesh before escaping through the perimeter wall.

Director of DCI Mohamed Amin has confirmed the incident saying a fresh hunt for the suspects had been launched.

“It is unfortunate this has happened but we are pursuing the matter for action,” he said.

Kenyans have however been angered by the reports and did not shy from sharing their thoughts on the subject on social media, as captured below.

Book Mania: Don’t be shocked when you learn about Collins Jumaisi’s escape. The state organs know how to plan treacherous moves.

Cornelius Rono: The truth of the matter is that the regime did not have a case against Collins Jumaisi. The real culprits of the Kware massacre and Githurai are the rogue police.

Finest Analyst: Whoever wrote this Collins Jumaisi script must be prosecuted, Fraud everywhere

Nasir Kenya: Kenya is the only country where serial killers ALWAYS escape like it’s a joke. Masten Wanjala escaped just the other day. Today its the Ugandan who was brought in to be Collins Jumaisi.
Watu si wajinga. Heads must roll at Police HQ or other heads will roll.

Meanwhile, officers investigating Kware murders were able to identify 6 victims and they intent to charge Jumaisi with 6 counts of murder.
