Nandi senator Samson has told off Azimio-OKA politicians that are eyeing the Principal Secretary(PS) positions.
Through a social media post, the senator insinuated that the leaders do not stand a chance to occupy the positions because of how they treated President William Ruto before he became president.
He also revealed that those who have served in the previous government will not be picked to serve in the Kenya Kwanza government.
“On the shortlisted PSs have seen some Azimio-OKA apologists who didn’t believe in H.E Ruto Presidency & insulted him, let them remain in opposition not to sabotage our God given govt & NO recycling . Loyalty to H.E Ruto MUST be absolute to serve govt & Kenyans,” Cherargei said.
585 people were shortlisted for the Principal Secretary interviews that have been scheduled for October 12 to October 22.
Some of the officials who served in the Jubilee government in the same capacity as well as Chief Administrative Secretaries and heads of parastatals are among those who made it to the shortlist.
Jubilee government principal secretaries include Julius Jwan(basic Education), Simon Nabukwesi (University Education), Belio Kipsang(Regional and Northern Corridor Development), Devolution PS Charles Sunkuli, his Housing counterpart Charles Hinga and Chege Thenya Muchiri.
Politicians allied to Azimio that will also be interviewed include former CEO of Ethic and Anti-Corruption Commission Halaqe Waqo who unsuccessfully vied for Isiolo gubernatorial seat on an ODM ticket among others.
