American defence secretary Mr. Mark Esper has this evening prepared a resignation letter for the incumbent President Trump even before election ends.
The top official has on many occasions disagreed with President Trump on a number of issues. At some point, they could not see eye to eye on the proposal to rename military bases for officials and generals.
According to NBC News, the defence secretary drafted this letter going by the election results pitting Joe Biden ahead. However, the action has left many people shocked since Biden is yet to be declared the winner.
The incumbent President Donald Trump is struggling to retain his win because of the stiff competition from his opponent Joe Biden. With the race being too close to call, it is difficult to tell exactly who will win.
The key states left may go either way since the top are neck to neck with very narrow range. American voters are anxiously waiting to find out who will be their head of state for the next four years after casting their ballots.

Most ballots were cast through the mail-ins system due to the ravaging effects of Covid-19. While on the campaign trail Joe Biden urged his supporters to adhere to the Covid containment measures and do mail voting. On the other hand, Donald Trump urged most of his supporters not to do the mail ins voting.
