Donald Trump got the sad news that he had lost his re-election bid to Joe Biden while he was playing golf at his golf course in Sterling, Virginia.
The President left the White House on Saturday morning for his golf course moments before votes counting was completed in Pennsylvania where Biden won the state’s 20 electoral votes that subsequently pushed him over the 270 threshold to be President-elect.
Trump’s campaign team issued a statement after Biden’s win condemning the democratic challenger of ‘rushing to falsely pose as the winner’.
Trump’s team also called out media outlets for what they termed as ‘helping Biden win the presidency illegitimately’.

“We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed.
“The simple fact is this election is far from over. Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of any states, let alone any of the highly contested states headed for mandatory recounts, or states where our campaign has valid and legitimate legal challenges that could determine the ultimate victor,” An official statement from president Trump reads in part.
Adding that;
“In Pennsylvania, for example, our legal observers were not permitted meaningful access to watch the counting process. Legal votes decide who is president, not the news media.”
Trump’s campaign will begin prosecuting their case on Monday to ‘ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated’.
