A Kenyan woman named Mary Stanton and her children have been shot dead by her husband Gary Stanton in Valley Station, a Southwest Jefferson County neighborhood, in the US.
Police are looking into the deaths of four people who were discovered inside a house in the Valley Station neighborhood early on Saturday morning with apparent gunshot wounds.
Police suspect that 60-year-old Gary Stanton shot the lovely family,  two girls, aged 11 and 17, and his wife, 49-year-old Mary Stanton , inside the home. LMPD reports, Gary then proceeded to commit suicide.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office reports that Mary, Andrianna, and Brianna all sustained gunshot wounds. Gary also succumbed from a self-inflicted gunshot.
In response to a complaint of a shooting, Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) went to East Pages Lane, which is close to Dixie Highway. Since everyone involved was a member of the same family, they’re referring to incident as a domestic murder-suicide.
