Owners of Bed Palace, a furniture shop located along Thika Road, are yet again counting losses after encountering another fire incident on Wednesday August 28 at around 10 am.
This is the second fire incident at the establishment has faced this year.
Nairobi Police Boss Adamson Bungei confirmed the incident saying investigations are underway to establish the course of the the fire.
“So far no injuries reported but property was destroyed in the fire,” he said.
According to witnesses, the fire burnt don property of unknown value, and was even spreading to other shops.
Locals engaged in rescue mission as the fire escalated.
Kenya Redcross has also responded to the incident.
“A fire incident has been reported at Bed Palace along Thika Road. Response teams en route to the scene,” Redcross said in a statement.
