A thief, who is yet to be identified, was caught on camera stealing a bench at Murang’a level 5 hospital on Sunday October 29.
According to a 45-second CCTV footage that was shared by Murang’a governor Irungu Kang’ata, the suspect could be seen slowly moving the bench towards a fence as he looked out for anyone coming.
Sure enough that no one was seeing him, he carried the three-seater bench to the fence and left.
The governor is now asking the public for help in bringing the suspect to book.
“Help us find this thief who stole a bench at Muranga level 5 hospital. Report at the nearest police station,” he shared on X.
In a separate tweet, Kang’ata said that the hospital boasts of CCTTV footages evrywhere.
“Muranga County takes pride it has cctv cameras allover. Report this thief to the nearest police station. He stole a bench at Muranga level 5 hospital,” he further insisted.
