“That’s Our Assignment” Rev Lucy Natasha, Prophet Carmel Explain Why They ‘Used’ A Similar Person For Different Miracles

Date:

Last Year in December Rev Lucy Natasha and her husband Prophet Carmel were exposed for using a similar person to perform different miracles.

The man in question was seen being prophesied to by Natasha, who said that she had shown by spirits that the man had traveled from Zambia to Kenya and was seeking prayers.

The same person is also seen during Carmel’s sermon whereby it is said that he had been blind but due to the prayers his sight was restored. All the events happened at the Empowerment Christian Church but on different occasions.

Defending themselves against the allegations, the couple said that there was nothing wrong in praying for a similar person because that person might have had different problems.

“In church, we do different outer calls. You can call for a salvation outer call and somebody will come, and my hubby will come and say if you need healing also come and the same person is sick, because a church is like a hospital, we pray for different kinds of people. Sometimes we can pray for somebody who needs a deliverance and the same people come,” Natasha said in an interview with Lynn Ngugi.

“Just because I prayed for you this week and next week I call for people who need employment, where is the faking? The same person can be needing marriage, the same person can be needing healing because that is our assignment and we are ministers so those are false allegations,” she went on.

On his side Carmel said that there was no intention in faking anything because Jesus himself was the healer and not them.

“There is nothing that we need to prove because we pray and Jesus heals people, Jesus saves people and there is no intentions like that behind us,” Carmel said.

At the same time, Natasha said that all their services are usually live on social media platforms so they have nothing to hide despite the criticisms

“Our ministry is in the public domain, all our services are always live on Facebook and YouTube so everything that we do in the church and ministry is live so that tells you so that tells you we have nothing to hide and our ministry is an open book,” Natasha said

She added some people would just fabricate information to create stories that don’t exist.

“In terms of faking miracles, you know people sometimes will just go out on social media and just pick out something and just fabricate stories from nowhere. First and foremost we are a ministry that  is preaching the message of salvation. We also believe in miracles because the bible is a revelation of different dimensions.
