The family of Keroche Breweries proprietors Joseph and Tabitha Karanja is mourning the death of their daughter Tecra Muigai.
Keroche Breweries corporate affairs department confirmed the passing on of Tecra following a tragic road accident on Saturday, May 2, afternoon.
“The Board of Directors and Management of Keroche Breweries is deeply saddened to inform that Tecra Muigai Karanja passed away on Saturday, May 2, afternoon following a tragic road accident,” read a statement by the company.
Until her death she worked as the Strategy and Innovation Director at Keroche Breweries, the statement disclosed. The deceased was lauded as a brilliant and passionate individual who had steered the company to great heights.
“Tecra’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of important innovations that have enriched the company’s product range including the development of new brands that were scheduled to be launched this year,” read the statement.
The family and company stated that besides mourning Tecra’s loss they equally celebrated her life for being an inspiration to many youthful people.
“While we mourn the loss of a remarkable young lady, we also celebrate her life and hope that it serves as an example to young people around the world to work hard and to make their dreams come true and to be willing to explore and push their limits,” continued the statement.
The family appealed for respect and privacy during the preparations for their daughter’s final sendoff. Joseph and Tabitha are blessed with four children namely: Anerlisa Muigai,James Karanja Edward Muigai and now the deceased Tecra.
