Teachers have been ordered to return to schools on Monday next week to prepare for the eventual of reopening.
Teachers Service Commission CEO Nancy Macharia on Monday said teachers should be at their workstations on Septemeber 28, 2020, or earlier depending on their conveniences.
On the other hand, Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha said the resumption of learning will be announced only after stakeholders agree on an appropriate date.

The CS said 15 schools in every sub-county will benefit from the Sh1.9 billion desks and chairs which will be made by the local industry.
Magoha also announced that the final year science students will be allowed back to the university to conduct their practicals in order to be ready for graduation at the end of the year but insisted that the students must observe the Covid-19 regulations.
