“Style Up!” President Ruto Accuses Ford Foundation Of Sponsoring Anti-government Protests

President William Ruto has revealed that the government is aware of those behind the anti-government protests.

Speaking in Nakuru, Ruto called out those sponsoring the protests,questioning the  benefits they were getting from the protests.

” We have no use of anarchy, violence, destruction of property and loss of lives. I want to call out those who are behind the anarchy in Kenya, shame on them because they are sponsoring violence in our democratic republic.

“I want to ask people from Ford Foundation what are they benefitting by giving out money to cause violence. If they are not interested in democracy in Kenya, if they are going to sponsor violence, anarchy, we are going call them out and we are going to tell them that of they don’t style up, they should pack and leave,” he said.

Ford Foundation is a private American Foundation.

“We want to warn those bringing money in an attempt to buy violence from the youths, we will stop you,” he further warned.

Ruto went on to urge youths from accepting to be used to cause violence.

“We want to ensure that our nation is peaceful so that every Kenyan can get a chance to work and depend on themselves.

“All the criminals, including those who targeted our daughters in Kware, the government of Kenya will ensure that they are brought to book and they are charged so that we can stip criminality in Kenya and protect all citizens of the republic of Kenya,” Ruto said
