Sonko’s Lawyer Accused Of Bring A Devil Worshipper, Ex-Wife Tells Court He Sacrificed Their Daughter

Date:

Ex-wife of prominent lawyer Harrison Kinyanjui testified that he is a devil worshipper, she told court that he sacrificed their daughter.

Kinyanjui shot to national fame last year when he represented former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko during his impeachment trial in Senate.

He mounted a strong rebuttal against Sonko’s charges and stole the show as the last man on the microphone, persuading the Senate to save the impeached Nairobi governor.

Well, Kinyanjui is now facing myriads of accusations from his ex wife Tabbyrose Wanja Wamwitha who filed a suit against him.

Wamwitha through her lawyer Danstan Omari filed an application in the Chief Magistrate court claiming Kinyanjui is a devil worshipper who sacrificed their daughter.

“That the applicant herein believes that the 4th respondent practices and participates in harmful religious practices by being a member of freemason,” the application read in part.

Kinyanjui’s ex wife is seeking court order to exhume the body of their deceased infant, who died in 2017, for autopsy in order to ascertain the cause of her death.

Wamwitha said their daughter developed fever and died suddenly, she further disclosed that Kinyanjui thwarted all her efforts to take their daughter to hospital.

“The said infant had fever the day before her death and despite the mother herein the applicant insisting on taking the minor to the hospital, the 4th respondent refused,” the application added.

Wamwitha further claims that she had to forcefully take the baby to the hospital the next morning before the infant was pronounced dead.

In her affidavit, Wamwitha says that Kinyanjui moved the body of their daughter from the mortuary on October 16, 2017, and buried her after a secret autopsy was conducted by an unidentified pathologist.

Wamwitha claims there are strong reasons to believe that there was foul play in the untimely death of her daughter.

Kinyanjui has however dismissed the claims by Wamwitha, insisting that he had nothing to do with the death of their daughter.

He maintained that he loved their daughter, terming Wamwitha’s allegations as “callous, diabolical and solely intent on in-dignifying the deceased infant.”

Kinyanjui further claimed his relationship with Wamwitha ended and collapsed on March 13, 2018. He insists that they were never married as she has been claiming.

The court will rule on the matter on November 12.
