Busia County Women Representative, Florence Mutua has sent tongues wagging over her latest pet project.
The lawmaker shocked many residents after she decided to donate innerwear to old women and widows across the county. However, it is not yet clear whether the lawmaker is using the donations the Affirmative Action funds, but one thing is clear is that she rolled out a massive distribution program.
While the women rep’s critics have questioned her latest sort of empowerment for vulnerable women, her popularity is said to be on an upward trajectory.
Sources claim that Hon. Mutua might have partnered with an international charity to fund what looks like a fairly expensive venture.
