Shocking Details Emerge About Azimio’s Truckload Of Evidence That Was Driven To Supreme Court

Date:

A number of Kenyans have questioned where the Azimio one Kenya coalition’s truckload of evidence went during the Supreme court hearings.

According to these Kenyans, they expected the Azimio lawyers to run the show in the corridors of justice because most of them were convinced beyond reasonable doubts that the lorry of evidence was going to be overwhelming.

However, most Kenyans have expressed their disappointments with regards to why all the evidence was not allowed in the courts rather why the Azimio side did not present them during the hearings.

More worrying is the 41 samples of forms 34As that the Azimio side provided to the supreme court which revealed that there was no significant variation in the numbers although the forms were different in terms of the security features.

As a result, Kenyans wondered if Azimio’s truckload of evidence was meant to achieve the qualitative aspect of the case (to cast doubts on the process due to variation in forms) or whether it was meant to achieve the quantitative aspect of the case (that Raila’s votes were being deducted and added to Ruto).

Even more interestingly, most Azimio supporters wondered whether lawyers could not produce a single form 34 A that had variation in numbers after they were challenged by William Ruto’s lead counsel Fred Ngatia.

This has made many Kenyans question if the evidence was supposed to weep the emotions of supporters or whether it really had substance. Others even argued that perhaps the evidence was present and it was upon the judges to look into them as they retire to make their ruling. Below were the sentiments by a number of Kenyans:

“The court’s clerks are the only ones who know what was there. They have to prove everything they alleged”

“For now, Kenyans on either side must wait & where necessary, take solace in the closure ‘our sides’ lawyers offered It is well.

“Not necessarily. The import of all that evidence has led to a very strong case. Maybe it is time we looked at the SCOK calendar. It is too strict and short, for such a momentous case. A month should suffice.”

“This election was balance sheet stuff. Accountable, simple, verifiable and accurate. On simplicity @IEBCKenya failed, Bk2of2 missing or used. On accuracy, try find 50%+1, am yet lost. #mahat fumbled on stray bullet ballots giving 46Kx2=92K, hogwash. verifiable with seals broken?”

“Bro, but this has been the Azimio problem from day one. Absence of message replaced by propaganda. Absence of preparation replaced by braggadacio about winning. Absence of court evidence replaced by submissions”

“It was for optics I think 🤔 more about prosecuting the case in the court of public opinion.”

“The judges keep their own counsel but I doubt you will win. Raila’s team is all about fury and sound, heat but no light, style and no substance. From the choice of running mate, choice of chief agent, and conduct of his team in court. It is clear why he keeps losing.”

“It’s devastating and mean to give people false hope, said evidence was in plenty only for Julie to embarrass herself on how a Form 34 was taken and Murgor on clerical error of date in a Form.Omatata was better off in his argument.”

“Written submissions are what determines the case .The presentations just highlights key issues. You wanted over 100 affidavits to be read in court in 3hours.Wewe watch Netflix bana legal proceedings huwezani nayou”

“Whether we win the petition or not, that truckload of documents which no one looked at was totally unnecessary. Poor advocacy in my not-so-humble opinion.”
