Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala has spoken up after socialite Huddah Monroe expressed intentions of wanting to date him.
In a phone interview with Milele FM presenter Ankali Ray, Omanyala set the record straight saying that he is not interested in her while noting that he is already married.
According to him, the only thing that Huddah can get from him is just fame and nothing more no matter what tricks she uses.
“Shetani ashindwe. She can’t get me no matter what she does. But there is no problem, what she can get may be just a name. I already closed that chapter. My wife is more beautiful than her, why should I take her,” the father of one said.
Omanyala further said that he is also not interested in being friends with the socialite and can not even greet her when they meet adding that that does not apply to Huddah alone but all women with intentions like hers.
“You know that is how it will start and grow into something else. Where I have gotten to there are things I can avoid. Someone who has publicized her intentions like that is very tricky. Not Huddah alone, if I see any girl with such intentions I run, I run like Kipchoge mine aside,” he said.
Omanyala, who is married to Laventa Amutavi, however asked Ankali to take Huddah instead now that he can not have her.
“She doesn’t want me, I don’t run, she doesn’t know me,” Ankali responded as Omanyala offered to train him, so that he doesn’t miss the chance.

A few days ago, Huddah took to her Instagram revealing that she has a crush on Omanyala soon after his stunning performance at the Kipkeino classic Race where he won the Men 100m race after running for 9.85 seconds.
“Omanyala is not so bad looking, hapa Kenya ni kama sitoki (It seems as if I’m not leaving Kenya anytime soon.) @ Mpasho organize that date,” Huddah said.
