Schools To Resume In-Person Learning Monday

Date:

Schools that offer an international curriculum will resume in-person learning on Monday as the Ministry of Education implements a phased reopening of learning institutions.

“Schools offering international curriculum will also resume face-to-face learning on October 12,” said Basic Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang in a circular issued on Wednesday.

The directive comes just a day after Grade 4, Grade 8, and Form learners in public and private schools were asked to report to school on Monday for their second term by the Ministry of Education.

Staff, learners, and visitors to schools are expected to wear face masks as well as have their body temperatures checked and wash their hands regularly or use hand sanitizers.
