Savora Hotels continued with its expansion in the Kenyan tourism and accommodation market after acquiring Maiyan Resort, Nanyuki.
In a statement, Sarova Hotels noted that the new franchise will be known as Sarova Maiyan Nanyuki.
The partnership will start on November 1, 2023.
“This marks the ninth property to join the Sarova group. Sarova Maiyan Nanyuki promises to be a jewel in the crown of the Mt. Kenya Tourism Circuit,” the statement read.
Guests will have a unique opportunity to explore the breathtaking beauty of the region, alongside the Sarova Shaba Game Lodge located further north in the Shaba Game Reserve.
Laikipia County, with its rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes, is now within reach to experience the unique Sarova hospitality.
The expansion is also touted to tap into the hospitality market which is expected to [pealk during the festive season starting November.
It comes months after Savora opened a new cuisine restaurant in Lavington.
