Rwandan woman Bajeneza Liberata refuses to give up on her deformed baby who looks like an alien, her own husband said the tot was spawned by the devil.
When Liberata when to the hospital to give birth to give birth, she thought she would have a normal baby as her other children had no issue.
Liberata however gave birth to a deformed baby boy whose look terrified many people marking the beginning of her ordeal.
The deformed baby boy has a triangular shaped head that looks like Hollywood’s portrayal of an alien figure.
Doctors didn’t even tell Liberata what condition the baby is suffering from. And her husband told her to kill the baby because it had been spawned by the devil.
The twisted husband abandoned his wife and their newborn baby at the hospital the moment he laid his eyes on it.
After giving birth to the deformed baby, Liberata spent several days stranded after as her husband walked out. The dad insisted he has no responsibility for the child and called it the devil’s spawn.
Liberata was helped by a good Samaritan offered to drive her and her baby back to her village where she also experienced stigma from villagers who have been making fun of the baby and calling it a monster.
Isolated and unable to work, Liberata has been struggling to care for herself and her son with no medical support from the hospital.
A GoFundMe page has since been set up which is raising money to send Liberata and her child abroad for treatment.
“This baby was born like this, people call him an alien because of the way he looks, his mother was abandoned by his father when his eyes landed on the baby at first sight.
“She struggles with him each and every day, she moved to the village and left her other children on their own in the city, to come to this village and seek help which she failed to find.
“She is now asking for help to take the baby abroad because in this country it’s not possible. Please donate to save his life,” read the information on the GoFundMe page.
