Ruto’s lawyer Fred Ngatia on Friday requested the court to give him only five minutes despite their time getting exhausted.
Fred Ngatia made the request immediately after their side gave responses and according to him, he donated the court 32 minutes and it was only ideal for the court to be equally kind to him and give him 5 minutes from the time.
The veteran lawyer on Thursday urged the judges to dismiss the petition, arguing that it was high time for people to learn accepting election loss.
In the meantime, the respondent’s lawyers struggled to answer the questions that were asked to them by the seven supreme court judges.
On the question of the National Security Council, Ruto’s lawyers maintained that they went to Bomas to interfere with the final results since they already knew who the winner was.
The lawyers also stated that wafula Chebukati could not wait to declare the results the next day since the process was already complete on that day.
