President William Ruto Flew to the United States with different jet, Sparking Speculation Over Harambee One
Kenyans have raised speculations after President William Ruto chose to fly to the United States with a leased jet, instead of using Harambee One, the jet traditionally used by Kenyan heads of state since the Moi era.
The jet used by President Ruto featured dark yellow and blue stripes, making it similar to the plane that flies Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki to his various destinations worldwide.
The operator of the plane that flew President Ruto to the United States has yet to be established.
Numerous reports that Kenya will cough millions per house for the chartered plane.
The state has not yet clarified but various media reports pointed at the plane charging north of Ksh2 million.
In the US, Ruto is set to hold key meetings before meeting President Joe Biden at the White House.
