Ruto’s Chief Of Staff Ken Osinde Was Very Stressed Before His Death

Deputy president William Samoei Ruto’s chief of staff Ken Osinde on Friday evening died at the Nairobi Hospital while receiving treatment.

The death of Ken Osinde was confirmed by an aide of William Ruto who disclosed that the family would share with the public a comprehensive statement.

“It is true we have lost him. The family will issue a comprehensive statement later today,” said the aide of the second in command.

Born in 1962, Ken Osinde suddenly became sick a few months ago although the nature of the illness was not very clear.

“Ken was stressed in the past few months but we did not understand what the problem was,” said one of his colleagues.

Ken Osinde began working at Harambee Annex in 2016 as the chief of staff where he was a mediator of issues prior to reaching William Ruto’s desk.

Prior to his death, he served as a manager at the National Bank Of Kenya where he later became the head of strategic planning. He was also a long time lecturer at the university of Nairobi where he pioneered research and published on youth languages/sheng.

While mourning the ambassador, the deputy president stated that his officer had lost one of the key officers who had robust knowledge and problem solving skills.

“My Office has lost one of its key officers. Ambassador Ken Nyauncho Osinde was a good leader with robust management and problem-solving skills. As our Chief of Staff, he was hardworking, diligent, broad thinker and a master of human resources. We will miss his wise counsel and team spirit. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the family, colleagues and friends. Rest In Peace my friend, Ken.” Wrote DP Ruto.

“Ken is a great guy. Powerful but approachable. Big Title and Big Heart. Power never changed him, he changed it to serve. Lovely Guy. Ambassador Ken Osinde….. It will never be Past Tense, you are forever PRESENT! Death is Stupid…To Family and Friends,May God stretch his hand your way and may strength and Grace fill every space in your rooms and hearts… HEARTBREAKING.” Wrote Ruto’s blogger Denis Itumbi.
