Ruto Panics As IEBC Repeats 2017 Mistake Of Defying Supreme Court’s Order Of Opening Servers

Date:

Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto has panicked following the latest move by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to refuse opening their servers.

The Supreme court had on Tuesday made an order that the petitioner would be allowed to access everything in the servers under strict supervision. By this, it meant that the Azimio and the court were to inspect the server then report back to the court.

Senior counsel James Orengo who is Raila’s main lawyer reported to the court that the IEBC ICT officers refused to open all the servers as directed by the apex court.

According to SC James Orengo, there are 8 servers within the IEBC but they’ve only been given access to 1 server only. This is a repetition of what happened in 2017 when the IEBC defied the orders of the supreme court to open their servers.

As a result, many people wondered why the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission ICT team were refusing to grant access to all the 8 servers if at all they conducted a free and fair election and declared DP Ruto the winner appropriately.
