Controversial Kenyan and Canadian based lawyer Miguna Miguna has claimed that deputy president William Samoei Ruo is the only citizen who is not allowed to travel outside Kenya.
Through twitter posts, Miguna revealed that the government of Kenya has on many occasions blocked DP Ruto from travelling abroad without meaningful explanations.
He also had a difficult time distancing himself from DP Ruto while maintaining that he does not support him, sentiments that were refuted by majority of his followers.
“For the record, @WilliamsRuto is not involved in what despot Uhuru Kenyatta and Conman @RailaOdinga are doing to me through their thugs @Karanjakibicho and @FredMatiangi. @WilliamsRuto is the only Kenyan presently who cannot himself travel outside Kenya. This is the truth.”
“I’ve not said Ruto is good. I’ve not said I support Ruto. I’ve stated a fact: That Despot Uhuru Kenyatta and Conman @RailaOdinga are using @FredMatiangi and @Karanjakibicho to violate my rights and stop me from returning home. They have stopped Ruto from traveling out of Kenya.”
At the same time, Miguna complained that president Uhuru Kenyatta and former prime minister Raila Odinga were determined to take his birthright which would automatically disqualify from holding public office.
“Despot Uhuru Kenyatta and conman @RailaOdinga want to take my BIRTHRIGHT away and make me a citizen by REGISTRATION (not birth) to DISQUALIFY me from occupying certain public offices like the presidency. That’s where the mischief resides.”
In the meantime, Exiled Kenyan and Canadian lawyer Miguna Miguna on Monday literally broke into tears after he was blocked from taking a flight to Kenya.
All was not well for Miguna Miguna as Air France dealt him a huge blow by denying him the opportunity to use their flight to Nairobi.
Through a statement shared on Monday November 15th, the controversial lawyer disclosed that the Kenyan government had issued red alerts to the French carrier hence rejecting him on arrival at the airport.
According to him, he had booked a flight ticket to Kenya on October 29th and had gone to check in at Berlin.
“This is to inform Kenyans and the world that Air France officials at the check-in counter at the Berlin Brandenburg Airport have just informed me that the Government of Kenya sent them a “Red Alert” this morning that they cannot fly me to Nairobi, ” read part of the statement.
At the same time, Miguna revealed that the French airline did not share with him the alleged copy of the Red Alert to prove that indeed the Kenyan government issued the same.
Having sensed plans to frustrate his returns, Miguna Miguna had gone to court to compel the Kenyan government lift the red alerts that would be imposed against him.
However, the Nairobi high court dismissed the application by the lawyer which would have seen all the current and past red alerts lifted. The judge argued that Miguna did not present any single evidence before the court to prove that red alerts had been issued against him.
