President William Ruto gas dissolved his cabinet, sparing only his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua and Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi.
In a press briefing on Thursday afternoon, but noted what government operations will continue uninterrupted.
According to him, the decision was arrived upon reflection and keen listening of what the people of Kenya .
“Upon reflection and listening keenly to what the people of Kenya have said and after a holistic appraisal of their performance, I have decided today, in line with the powers given to me, to dismiss with immediate effect all cabinet secretaries and attorney general of the Cabinet of Kenya except the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs,” Ruto said.
“And of course, the office of the Deputy President is not affected in any way.”
