US-based UDA and DP William Ruto die-hard supporter Cosmo Choy insists that the attack on Raila Odinga’s chopper in Uasin Gishu was planned.
Cosmo said that the plan was orchestrated by the Azimio team and it was made to look like it was done by anti-Raila supporters.
The incident occurred during the burial of Mzee Jackson Kibor, in Kabenes, Uasin Gishu County earlier this month.
According to him, the incident is nothing compared to what DP Ruto encountered while in Kondele last year yet the head of state never said anything about that only for him to defend Raila.
“If you look at it very well, it was planned. Where we saw stones falling like soil was in Kondele, the Deputy President was pelted with stones and there was a lot of damage but no one spoke about it.
“The president himself never spoke about it, Matiang’i, the same, and until now, no one has been arrested . But what happened[to Raila], immediately the president condemned and he took sides,” Cosmo told Machiegny TV.
He further said that there was no footage showing how the attack occurred while claiming that Azimio team must have done it themselves.
“Just like I said, when you hit a vehicle’s windshield with a stone, it cracks, but there were none(cracks). You saw in Kondele, they showed people with big stones, but we did not see anybody throwing stones at the helicopter. I feel that it was a plan. If you look very well hole was drilled from inside the helicopter. It was not a stone, a stone has a funny shape, they drilled a round hole to say that he had been attacked” Cosmo claimed.
The UDA supporter further faulted Raila’s move to visit Iten in Elgeyo Marakwet County, yet Kibor’s burial was in Uasin Gishu. He also claimed that Raila arrived very late for the burial, when Kibor had already been buried.
“If he was going for burial he would have gone there early, he went when the burial was finished 3 hours later you see it was a game,” Cosmo claimed.
