A video of William Ruto asking Majority leader and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwah to remove his hand from the pocket while they were shaking hands with his has left Kenyans with mixed reactions
Ichung’wah was among the dignitaries who were at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to see off the president who was reportedly heading to Europe.
In the video, Ruto alighted from the vehicle, and first shook hands with his deputy Rigathi Gachagua, a general and finally Ichung’wah who had one of his hand in his pocket .
It was however evident that Ruto was unpleased by the gesture and he did not shy from telling Ichung’wah that.
Soon after the president reacted, Ichung’wah was captured hurriedly removing his hand from the pocket as they proceeded with the pleasantries .
