Oscar Sudi, the Kapseret MP has claimed President Uhuru Kenyatta is targeting Deputy President William Ruto’s assets so as to derail his 2022 ambitions.
The vocal lawmaker who does not mince his words alleged the head of state had already taken the controversial Ruai land from the DP and would likely go after more of his properties.
Speaking to members of the press in Eldoret town on Monday, June 8, the second-term legislator said Ruto had been pushed to the wall by the president but had chosen to remain silent.
“We know you have forcefully taken the Ruai land from William Ruto. He has two houses in Nairobi which you can also take. You can even take his home in Sugoi and all his other small properties but we plead that you spare his life. You have pushed him to the wall but he chose to remain silent,” an angry Sudi said.
Sudi also claimed the Jubilee administration which they campaigned hard for in the 2013 and 2017 General Elections had initiated investigations on a number of Ruto’s allies over what he termed as dubious claims.
“We know that they are targeting some of us. Even Kipchumba Murkomen had his security details withdrawn..Those frustrating Kenyans should not think they are above God and will live forever. If they are lucky they will only live for a maximum of 115 years,” “You called us the other day at State House and abused us using all sort of names. I swear never to go back there as we were threatened and intimidated,”Sudi added.
In the last few weeks, Ruto’s allies both in the Senate and the National Assembly leadership were kicked out as others were also discharged from crucial committees over alleged insubordination.
