Mithira MP Rigathi Gachagua married off a young rich woman to a man she had never met before during William Ruto’s rally in Ilpolosat Farm, Kajiado county.
Gachagua played a matchmaker during the Friday October 8th rally in Kajiado, he invited a single beautiful woman from Ruto’s UDA team to the podium and asked eligible bachelors to present themselves.
The Mithira MP insisted that local men should not allow the beautiful woman to go back home unmarried again.
“Huyu mrembo hajaoleka na msimuache atoke hapa bila bwana (This lady is unmarried so don’t let her go back without a husband),” Gachagua told the crowd.
The Mithira MP made a pitch for the woman identified as Hon. Jemetia saying that she earns a monthly salary of Ksh800,000.
He assured whoever is interested in the lady that he will be treated well, except that the willing man has to show his seriousness by paying a bride price of around 200 cows.
Gachagua asked interested man who could properly guard the woman’s wealth to step forward and ask for her hand in marriage.
A young man quickly jumped to the podium without any hesitation even before the Mithira MP finished his bidding.
“Sasa si mnaona hii Hustler Nation ni mzuri? Inawapea youths opportunities yote. Sasa wewe chukua bibi yako, mkae na yeye pale na mbadilishe namba (You can now see how good the hustler Nation is. It gives youths all the opportunities. You can now take your wife, have a seat and exchange numbers),” Gachagua told the man.
The Mithira MP further insisted that the man should sit with his newly found wife when he got off the stage to sit where he had come from.
“Wewe kaa na bibi yako pale, hakuna kurudi huko tena (Sit there with your wife, no going back there again),” Gachagua told the man as he started walking away.
