So far at least 10 witnesses, including first responders, have recorded statements with the police over the incident that happened on Monday, March 30.

The autopsy that was released was a sigh of relief for the former Tusker Project Fame winner after she was accused of killing her husband.

Jesse McJessy who claimed to be a friend and manager to the deceased on Tuesday, April 14 alleged that Matete had orchestrated the husband’s death.

Nigeria through their High Commission had asked the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to ensure the body of John Apewajoye, is held until it gives consent for burial.

The body of Apewajoye is being preserved at the Kenyatta National Hospital mortuary.
