Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has finally gotten a person who will be in charge of his communication team, press releases, and speeches.
This is after President William Ruto made further appointments on Monday, October 17 in a bid to fully constitute a team that will enable him to deliver his mandate to the people of the Republic of Kenya.
Ruto appointed Njeri Rugane as the head of communication services at the office of the Deputy President which is located at Harambee House. He also appointed Paul Muraya Mwangi Guare as the DP’s private secretary.
Rugane is a veteran journalist who currently works as a columnist in the Daily Nation and is the brains behind the  Woman’s Newsroom Foundation.
The journalist has over 25 years of experience in journalism, ranging from reporting, writing and editing.
The president further appointed Emmanuel Talaam, as the Press Secretary of the Presidential Communication service.
Other appointments made include Reuben Maiyo as the private Secretary of the president and George Ng’ong’a Macgoye as Chief of Staff to the deputy President.
