It has now emerged that the former prime minister Raila Amollo odinga has made it clear that he will only make it to the bomas of Kenya after the commissioners cooperate.
Sources have told Sonko News that there is tension in Bomas of Kenya with a number of commissioners refusing to sign form 34C that is supposed to be used to declare the overall winner of this presidential election.
Apparently, the source has said that Chebukati and the other commissioners have disagreed on the content of the form 34 C which is supposed to be used to declare the final winner.
At the same time, other sources have intimated that Raila will only make his way to the Bomas of Kenya after Ruto’s chief agent Mr. Kindiki signs form 34C and concedes defeat since he believes he is the winner that ought to be declared.
Consequently, the commissioners are involved in push and pull at Bomas which made them to postpone the declaration of the results from 3Pm to 4PM . However, no winner was named by 4pm and Sonko News has leant that the same has been pushed upto 5PM. Sources have hinted that the event might be pushed to around 7PM if they don’t agree at Bomas.
The confusion is said to have made Raila reluctant to make his way at Bomas and he will only walk inside if the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commissioners solve that issue of form 34C.
In the meantime, Sonko News is still investigating these claims and will bring you a detailed report on them after verifying since our phone call to Raila’s spokesman went unanswered.
