The ODM leader and former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga has positively promised and confirmed that the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) report is complete and it could be unveiled real soon paving the way for a referendum.
The former Premier was speaking at the United Christian Ministries in Kawangware as hosted by the Dagoretti North MP, Simba Arati accompanied by George Aladwa, Elisha Odhiambo, Justus Kizito, Tom Kajwang’, Mpuru Aburu with Nominated MPs: Maina Kamanda, Getrude Musuruve, and Dennitah Ghati said that he was shocked that some legislators were opposing the BBI report despite them not reading it.
“The BBI report is ready.” Raila Odinga said, “In a matter of days, Uhuru and I will receive it. We will publicize it for everybody to read. So I get surprised when I hear people oppose it. How do you oppose something you have not seen?
While the contents of the much-hyped report remain a subject of much speculation, BBI – a brainchild of Uhuru Kenyatta’s and Raila’s March 9, 2018 Handshake – is expected to change the Executive structure.
