The Azimio presidential candidate Raila Amollo Odinga has finally emerged from his hideout in escort almost matching that of the presidential standards.
Raila who has been out of the public limelight on Sunday attended a church service at the St. Francis ACK in karen and his facial expression revealed that things were normal.
The Azimio presidential candidate was not only happy but also smiled even as his supporters kept expressing hopes that all would be well.
Our reporters in Karen also confirmed that his running mate Martha Karua was on her way where she would equally attend the service with Raila Odinga.
Since the day of voting, the Orange Democratic Movement leader has kept a low profile and has not been seen in the public limelight unlike his competitor William Ruto who has been inviting guests at his Karen home and sharing the same in his official social media handles.
The emergence of Odinga comes in the wake of push and pulls at the Bomas of Kenya where tallying of the presidential results has been ongoing for the last three days.
So tense has the tallying exercise been that Raila’s chief agent Saitabau Ole Kanchorry almost brought things to a standstill after he took to the podium and declared Bomas of Kenya a crime scene.
It was not clear why the chief agent declared it a crime area but there were reports that some Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission officials were colluding with the Kenya Kwanza team to favor a particular candidate.
In the meantime, the ODM leader was accompanied by COTU boss Francis Atwoli and Baringo senator Gideon Moi who lost his Baringo seat to the United Democratic Alliance candidate.
