Popular YouTube content creator Mungai Eve is trending for bad reasons just hours after showing off her expensive apartment in Kileleshwa.
Mungai, who has come out as the true definition of hard work pays, dropped a video on her Instafame YouTube channel, showing details of every corner of the exquisite house, the expensive furniture among other things.
Hours later, a video of a man believed to be a GSU officer, who claimed to be Eve’s ex-boyfriend, surfaced online sparking mixed reactions.
The man claimed that he helped the YouTuber when she was beginning her content creation journey, only for him to be disregarded after things started working out for her.
“Guys, I have a sad story here to share with you. I know most of you will end up insulting me but the truth should be told. The story is about Mungai Eve. Before she became famous, you know how much I struggled to make sure you recorded your first thirty videos. In Fact, this is the phone we were using techno pop 4. I am not afraid of reporting that. If you are woman enough, come and fight me back,” the officer said.
The man is now demanding that Eve refunds all the money that he spend on her including paying her rent. He also revealed that he bought lunch for the first 30 people that interviewed.
“You did not have anything. Nowadays you flaunt your money after making it and later blocked me. I remember the house I used to pay rent for you, Kshs3800. I even have the contacts of the caretaker here and all the evidence here. I paid rent for you for five months before you became famous. I call you but my calls don’t go through, when are you planning to pay me back?” he posed.

Eve is yet to respond to the matter but on several occasions she narrated how she began her journey in content creation.
In one interview, she said that the idea of content creation came from Trevor, who doubles up as her director, videographer and boyfriend. She said that she was blank about social media matters by then.
That was back in 2020 when she was forced to pause her studies because of corona. This was a year after she joined college at NIBS. According to her, she met Trevor in 2019 while hunting for a course to study after clearing highschool in 2018. At the time they were dating a different partners. Below is her story.
