On Saturday evening a CCTV footage was released showing the Late businessman Kevin Omwenga was in the company of a lady before the shooting occurred.
The lady as now been identified as Babz Juma and has spoken about the relationship she had with Kevin Omwenga.
The German-based Kenyan lady revealed she and Omwenga were dating.
“We met on Facebook in 2015. He is the one who sent me a friend request and he said he liked me and wanted us to have something together,” Babz said.
“I used to fly to Kenya every year just because of him. We dated for almost two years,” she added.
Kevin Omwenga was shot in the chest at his Kilimani Suites apartment and controversial businessman Chris Obure and his bodyguard Robert Ouko have so far been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting.
According to the report released by the police, the motive of the shooting has not been established yet.
Bt sources say preliminary findings show that Omwenga and the suspect disagreed over a deal gone bad. Omwenga and his business associates are said to be planning to travel to Dubai to meet a client on a gold deal.
