Brian Mbage, the 17 year old student from PCEA Gathiruini Boys’ High School met his death a few days ago after he sneaked into a neighboring girl’s school.
According to the Standard, Brian Mbage died of excessive bleeding following a brutal attack at the Kamothai Girls, Githunguri, Kiambu County which left him with several injuries.
The Standard reported that Brian died after he was allegedly assaulted for illegally entering a dormitory at a nearby girls school with postmortem examination reports revealing that he died as a result of excessive bleeding in the head.
Consequently, Gathiruini Boys Secondary School was shut after the mysterious death of its student Brian Mbage on Wednesday night.
According to the County director of education Victoria Mulili, Gathiruini Boys High school, which is located three kilometres from Komothai Girls in Githunguri, Kiambu County, will remain closed until Monday, October 25, 2021.
“For now there is no tension between the two schools and we haven’t added any security from our side. No arrests have been made up to this point,” said Githunguri Sub-County Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Michael Kimilu.
Further reports reveal that Brian Mbage was accompanied by five other schoolmates into the girl’s school but the others were lucky to escape without being caught.
The family has so far called upon the government through the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to investigate the incident in a bid to bring to book those who committed the heinous act.
