Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has left Kenyans after revealing his only condition to ditch Azimio for Kenya Kwanza.
During an interview with Jeff Koinange, Salasya said that he will ditch his coalition if President William Ruto reduces the cost of fuel.

Responding to the controversial videos that he has been sharing on social media, including the ones he took while in South Africa, Salasya said it was his way of making Kenyans happy so that they can forget their problems.
“When I respond to that video, you remember some time back, there was a research that was done that Kenyans are the happiest people after Kibaki came. Right now Kenyans are the bitter people so what I am doing now is to make the happy to forget their problems,” the youthful lawmaker said.
Asked on whether he is a legislature or a comedian, he said, ” I am a legislature and I am a very serious person. In terms of of development, among first timer MPs I am number two. In the general I was number 10 but I was supposed to be number one because what I have done in my constituency you will be surprised when you come there. Mumias East is another city. Come and see the kind of toilets am building, renovations, the bursaries I am giving and I monitor all the projects. Huku Nairobi ni show, kwa ground ni kazi kwasababu bunge hawataki kuniskiza because I have a lot of ideas.”
