A pastor accused of peeing on a woman during a flight in October resigned from one of his jobs, according to The Charlotte Observer.
Daniel Chalmers resigned from his “non-pastor” position at catch the Fire Raleigh-Durham.
The Love Win Ministries pastor stepped down from his position as a staff member and said, “Mourning and expressed horror at the “incident in October.
“We were sad to hear the news yesterday that one of our non-pastors was involved in a disorderly incident earlier this month,” Catch the Fire told Raleigh in an Instagram post.
“We take these matters very seriously. This behavior does not reflect Catch The Fire, our leadership, and its members. While we were investigating the matter, he was immediately suspended and we subsequently accepted his resignation and his honest, heartfelt behavior. Sorry to everyone Involved.”
The North Carolina pastor is said to have urinated on the woman while she was sleeping on a flight.
Alicia Beverly accused the North Carolina pastor of peeing on her while asleep during her flight on Delta Flight from Las Vegas to Detroit.
According to Alicia, she “woke up and felt something warm on her body” and saw Chalmers standing in her seat, according to a police report.
“I jumped up and saw his private area and I screamed and that woke everyone up,” Beverly told Fox 2 Detroit. “At that point, I actually looked at him and I see him shaking himself off and I’m like this man just peed on me! I looked and there was a puddle of piss on the seats!”
At first, Chalmers is reported to have denied the claims saying the claims were inconsistent with his “character” but later admitted to the police saying he was taking prescribed medications and drinking.

Beverly filed a lawsuit against Raleigh’s Love Wins Ministries and Daniel Chalmers for millions, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.
Beverly said the incident caused her “injuries and harm” including severe emotional and psychological distress, anxiety, and humiliation.
“It’s hard to believe that a church would hire a pastor who got on a plane drunk and has a tendency to urinate on passengers,” their lawyer Geoffrey Fieger said in the press release. “Given the times we live in, nothing surprises me anymore.”
Chalmers issued a statement of apology for his conduct to local news.
