Televangelist Kanyari has broken his silence over the murder of Starlet Wahu Mwangi in Nairobi South C area.
Speaking to Nairobi News, Kanyari expressed shock over the heinous act.
Kanyari revealed that they spent time together on December 31.
“I am heartbroken; she was doing so well in life. We last met on Christmas, and on December 31, we spent time together at home. We had not seen the man before. We learned about him after her death.
“This is so tragic for us, the family, and even her friends. May her soul rest in peace,” Pastor Kanyari shared.
Starlet Wahu’s life was cut short, and she is set to be laid to rest today, January 6, at her parents’ home in Kamulu.
The Industrial Area Police Station has apprehended a suspect, John Matara, in connection with her murder.
The suspect was tracked using his phone and was arrested while undergoing treatment for a stab wound.
Police have however launched investigations to establish the motive of the murder.
