Angry Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Kipchumba Sudi has taken a swipe at former South Mugirango member of parliament Omingo Magara.
According to Oscar Sudi, Omingo Magara is a mere political prostitute who wanted some favors from the United Democratic Alliance but they could not grant him the favors since the same was against their party norms.
Specifically, Omingo Magara wanted to be given a direct ticket to run for the Kisii gubernatorial seat, something which proved difficult according to Sudi.
“To my friend Omingo Magara; It’s not about democracy in UDA but it’s about your greed and failure to embrace democracy within the party. You wanted to be given a direct ticket which is against our party norms. You denied the party a chance to conduct opinion polls. Stop crying, we know this is just but normal political prostitution we are used to.” Wrote Oscar Sudi.
A day earlier, Omingo Magara had given a hint that he was on his way out OF UDA when he disclosed that he was listening to the ground. The former Mugirango south added that he would make a major announcement that would shock the nation.
“Good morning, good people. In the journey called life, great bends require a great driver to navigate, but the journey must go on, to all my supporters I’ve heard you, and as a good leader, I’m currently engaged in consultations and I’ll be making a major announcement soon. Good day and have a blessed Sunday.”
Fastforward, Omingo Magara while tendering his resignation from the UDA party on Monday revealed that the UDA had failed to embrace the internal democracy within the party, and that he did not stand a realistic chance to fly the party in Kisii region that is majorly pro- Azimio.
As a result, he said that he was with immediate effect resigning not only as a party member but also as the party national treasurer so that he engages with other like minded political parties.
