Oscar Sudi, the Kapsaret MP has torn into his Nandi Hills counterpart Alfred Keter for what he termed as operating a “political Koinange in the Kalenjin nation”.
Sudi was reacting to Keter’s sentiments that portrayed William Ruto’s allies as political opportunists who were crying foul for the evils they engineered.
In a scathing Facebook attack, Sudi put Keter and Cherengany MP Jushua Kutuny into a filthy basket of political conmen troubling the unity of Rift Valley region.
“This ( Keter) and Jashua Kutuny were in State House the other day. They are known to operate a political kionange in Kalenjin nation,” he said in reaction.
In his social media post, the Nandi Hills lawmaker called out the DP ‘s allies for complaining about President Uhuru Kenyatta’s meeting with a few selected MPs while they were also holding private meetings with their master.
“When these sycophants were coronated into house leadership in some “Aviation” hotel along Langata Rd,it was democracy. When our Party leader just nominates individuals to the party management, then you hear them say oooh…..this and that. Na.. kila mtu atabeba(everyone will carry his own burden) he said.
Keter and Kutuny have become Ruto’s fiercest critics from the Rift Valley region and have vowed to oppose his 2022 presidential bid.
The two youthful leaders have been launching scathing attacks at the DP and calling him out over corruption issues and political deceit.
They have aligned themselves with Uhuru and opposition leader Raila Odinga in the fight against graft, BBI transformative politics and the 2022 contest.
This has not gone down well with a section of Ruto’s allies from the expansive Rift Valley region where Senator Gideon Moi is laying strategies to restore the lost glory of KANU dominance.
