Oparanya In Tears As Didmus Barasa Reveals What His Wife Told Him In A Private Phone Call

Date:

Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa took a swipe at Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya over the standoff that was witnessed at Bukhungu stadium on Sunday, July 31.

Kenya Kwanza team, led by DP William Ruto, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, his Ford Kenya counterpart among other leaders had arrived at the stadium for a mega rally after making various stops around the county only for them to find that the stadium had been locked.

The team was forced to address their supporters, who had turned up in large numbers, by the roadside.

While making his speech, Barasa called upon Oparanya to stop troubling them because  they also enjoyed a 50% share of support in the county which is his backyard.

“As I come here today, deputy president, I have been called by the wife of the governor here. Oparanya’s wife has informed me that on August 9, when she wakes up in the morning, her vote is for William Ruto and Cleophas Malala. So Oparanya you should stop troubling us. We share your bedroom 50-50,” the law maker said adding that the governor will be heading to Bondo with ODM leader Raila Odinga after the forthcoming general elections.

Barasa further directed his attacks towards COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli saying that he is a cursed man for marrying a younger woman.

“To add on that, while I was coming here, Atwoli had threatened that he will curse me. I told him that he married a woman from our home area. The woman’s father and Atwoli got circumcised the same year and in the Luhya community, marrying a daughter of your agemate(Bakoki) you are cursed. Now Atwoli is already cursed he can’t curse anybody else.
