Winnie Odinga seems to be one person who will not allow any human to mess up with her father Raila Odinga.
This can be proved by her savage response to Chama Cha Kazi leader Moses Kuria who claimed that president Uhuru Kenyatta was making a mistake by supporting the ODM leader since they had taken an oath not to do so.
“Uhuru is going against his father’s wish by supporting Raila Odinga and he knows what Kenyatta said . We even took an oath never to support Raila for the presidency and that is why we are backing William Ruto,” Kuria was quoted by The Star.
Winnie was however displeased by the remarks that she brought up Moses Kuria’s unfortunate incident whereby he burnt his feet, something that saw him spend about 6 months in hospital.
“Not nyama choma toes talking to us about curses,” she responded.
Dear Winnie Odinga,
Never wish your worst enemy what happened to Moses Kuria. Politics come and go but words are difficult to take back. You are above this. Political banter does not have to be this mean. We must humanize our politics. “Nyama choma toes”, really @Winnie_Odinga ? pic.twitter.com/f8JFBGQngp

Winnie’s response has however caused a mixed reaction on social media with some supporting her because of Kuria’s attacks on her father as others corrected her for riding on his misfortune.
“Mr. John Njenga whoever you call yourself Dr. Winnie is also human and to error, its a pain for daughter when you abuse his father and you daughters are close to their fathers. If I may ask do you have a daughter or mother even a sister,” Ayisi Vitalis.
While campaigning in Gatundu South constituency during the Kenya Kwanza campaigns, Kuria further directed insults to the former prime minister in the local dialect saying that he was uncircumcised while calling upon the locals not to vote for him.
“Winnie Odinga should also be condemned with the strongest terms possible for calling Moses Kuria ‘Nyama Choma toes’. Insensitive!” said aniother Twitter user
