Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has offered to buy ODM fanatic Nuru Okanga a house.
Additionally, Sudi pledged to gift Okanga KShs1.3 million.
Sudi made his intentions public during Obinna Live Show, when he met with Okanga, who had previously expressed interest of having a sit down with him, in the same show.
Sudi asked Okanga to look for a 3-bedroomed house in the ongoing affordable housing project.
“Do you want KSh 1.3 million? Give me your account, and I will deposit the money for you. Not immediately; I will do it later. However, regarding what I have arranged for you, do this: go and look for a house under the affordable housing scheme; find a three-bedroom house.”
“And I want you to go to Kibera or Mukuru Kwa Njenga and look for a three-bedroom house. I have bought this for you as if I bought it for the children, and you should now start life and continue. Go and furnish everything. There is no place where affordable housing has not been launched,” Sudi said.
The MP further asked Okanga for his bank account details so that he could deposit the Ksh1.3 million.
“That’s what I thought I should help you with so that you understand matters of money. Go and look, then come to my office tomorrow; there is a lawyer there who will guide you, explain the options, and help you find a house I can buy for you, even if it takes a year to complete. We will find one that is ready, and I will give you Ksh1.3 million, and then we will see,” the MP stated.
Nuru welcomed the gesture, declaring more blessings to Sudi.
“Thank you. Even where it came from, may God replenish it because the hand that receives is not blessed, but the one that gives is,” he said.
