“No One Will Ban Me” Muhoozi Kainerugaba Proves He Is Powerful Than His Father

Date:

Days after Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni said that his son Muhoozi Kainerugaba will cease making controversial statements on social media, the general is back with a scathing attack on a Kenyan journalist.

Through a tweet, Muhoozi accused the journalist of asking Museveni to ban him from Twitter due to his remarks that agitated Kenyans.

He however maintained that no one can ever ban him from anything because he is an adult.

“I hear some journalist from Kenya asked my father to ban me from Twitter. Is that some kind of joke?? I am an adult and NO ONE will ban me from anything!” he wrote.

A few days ago, Museveni was interviewed by KTN’s Sophia Wanuna, where he addressed the controversial social media outbursts by his son.

Museveni acknowledge that Muhoozi was wrong, adding that he would stop making the statements after he had a discussion with him on the matter.

“Tweeting is now a modern method. The issue is what you tweet about. If he was tweeting on sports and things which are not controversial, that would not be a problem but to talk about other countries and partisan politics of Uganda is what he should not do and will not do,” the leader noted.
