Pastor James Maina Ng’ang’a of Neno evangelism has demanded single members of his congregation to get married within 6 months
The controversial televangelist issued the ultimatum in one of his recent televised preaching, while warning them from talking to him about side lovers.
“Those who have not married and gotten married, I am giving you a ‘multimatum’ of 6 months from now. Multimatum, multimatum, 6 moths from now” he insisted.
“Or else why can’t your wife, spouse, husband be snatched from you, don’t tell me about side lovers. Stop nonsense. Don’t tell me about mpango wa kando, tell me about accidents, sicknesses, tell me your weaknesses. Those who have a very big problem are women who are yet to get married,” he further said.
Besides that, he has since cautioned his wife to refrain from touching his phone, saying that if she does that, that is her problem.
“My wife, if you touch my phone that is your problem. Don’t come asking silly questions. You have your phone, and I have mine, right?” he further said during his sermon.
Ng’ang’a added that his wife should contact the persons she stumbles on in his phone and ask them about their details but not question him.
“I am not in prison. I don’t stay in jail. I don’t hold someone else’s phone. Even if her phone rings, I can’t pick it up. I can’t even touch their phone when asking who this is… If they want to carry it, they will carry it outside, and you won’t know,” the preacher said.
