Tanzanian songstress Faustina Charles Mfinanga popularly known as Nandy has launched a lipstick brand.
Nandy launched her lipstick identified as Shushi on Tuesday December 21 at 8.00pm.
“Shushi by Nandi… Thanks to all those who made this a success, without you Shushi would not have been known today. Welcome to the new world of beauty,” the nimekuzoea hitmaker shared on Instagram.

Speaking after the launch of her new product, Nandy revealed that she had the idea of developing the brand a long time ago.
“Truly, it is an idea that I had for a very long time. Many things that are coming from me right now are things that I thought of two or three years ago but it’s just for the right time to come for me to do the thing,” she told the press.
Nandy said that she was able to develop her brand after trying out different brands of lipsticks both local and international ones.
“One chooses what is best. Before, I had already had the taste of lipsticks from different people. I have seen the quality I saw where to add and where to subtract while developing my own lipstick,” she said.
She has however warned those who plan to make fake products using her brand of serious consequences.
“Any one who is going to make the fake product will be arrested within two minutes one because these are not just lipsticks, they are Nandy’s lipsticks. People are following and seeing so anyone who will develop something different will be known,” Nandy said.
Nandy also showed gratitude to her late boyfriend Ruge Mutahaba for helping her in understanding the world of production and the market.
She however said that she is hopeful that she will wed in 2022. She is currently dating rapper Bill Nas.
Aside from Shushi, Nandy also runs a bridal shop called Nandy bridal.
